Need help with your dog or puppy? The Kennebecasis Obedience Club has helped dog owners in the Kennebecasis Valley and Saint John communities since 1975. Whether you wish to enhance your dog's behaviour for improved family integration or pursue training for obedience trials, our classes can help.The Spring 2026 Obedience Classes are full. Our next session of Classes will begin at the Bill McGuire Centre in Rothesay on May 7, 2026. We provide three distinct class levels: Beginner or Basic Behaviour Class - This course is structured to help participants teach their dogs key foundational skills, including walking calmly on a loose leash, sitting, lying down, staying in place upon command, and sustaining focused attention. Novice Class- This course builds upon the foundational behaviours developed in the Beginner class and introduces advanced techniques designed to further improve your dog's social skills and overall behaviour. ) Advanced Class - Intended for individuals preparing for competition or seeking to work with their dog at an advanced level. Obediences Classes

***    All dogs entering classes must have Canadian veterinarian proof of current DISTEMPER, PARVOVIRUS, ADENOVIRUS, BORDETELLA, and RABIES immunizations. Females in season are not permitted to attend classes. Classes are 45 mins. on Thursday evenings. The cost of the 6-week session is $120.00. size is limited and classes usually fill early, We currently have spaces available in the , Basic, Novice and Advanced Classes.
